Alpha or Beta in Network Marketing
Many moons ago there was a store in our town at which we frequently shopped for groceries. It was a nice supermarket by the name of Alpha Beta. It was a new store when we first started going there, but it later went out of business as other bigger stores entered the business arena in that location.
All those years of shopping there, I never gave a thought as to the meaning of their name, Alpha Beta. I liked the store and the name, but I never analyzed what it meant. It was through study of the network marketing and internet business recently that I came to a clear understanding of the words, Alpha and Beta.
Alpha people are the leaders. Beta people are basically the non-leaders or the followers. The beta people can become successes if they are carried along the way by leaders, but they generally do not achieve high success without either having the help of leaders or by developing leadership traits themselves and becoming Alphas.
There is often reference made to beta testing. That could mean testing among the masses, the normal people of the world. Of course, there are many more Beta people in the world than Alpha people.
Hence, the grocery store with the Alpha Beta name was a store where everyone was welcome. They were catering to the leaders and the followers, or in other words, to everyone. The world needs both types of people, but the truly successful ones need to become leaders or Alphas.
Those who find immediate success in a network marketing home based business must naturally be leaders or be helped by leaders in order to find that success which is possible
Many of the internet gurus who are now Alpha personalities will tell you that they were not always that way. They became that way because they were determined to succeed. They will tell you that becoming a leader in some specific niche is not that difficult. It does take extra effort, study, and determination, but it can be done.
If you are an Alpha already, you are probably already successful. If you are a Beta person, you should begin immediately to start working on developing the traits to become Alpha. There is lots of help out there. Find it and go after the success you deserve.
